The normal hierarchy of the Tuesday cable ratings was disrupted by the NBA this week.
On TNT, the Boston Celtics played the Golden State Warriors, taking the top slot with a 0.8 rating in adults 18-49. This left “The Curse of Oak Island” on History Channel to peak at second place with an additional 0.8, matching the score it previously recovered to. Rounding out the third spot was USA’s “WWE Smackdown,” which fell from 0.8 to 0.7, descending from the very top slot after spending several weeks there.
“Smackdown” wasn’t the only high-achiever displaced by the Celtics vs. Warriors game; “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” retreated to fourth place even as it brought home another 0.6 for Bravo. On TBS, “Miracle Workers” scored a 0.3 to match its last score, and “Siesta Key” on MTV did the same.
OWN’s “The Haves and the Have Nots” sunk from 0.4 to 0.3, while “Project Blue Book” continued to hold its audience at 0.3. TLC’s “I Am Jazz” and Food Network’s “Chopped” each brought in a pair of 0.3’s.
